Design ideas that I love.
Some ideas are techno-based and others follow threads of my interests in ecology, holography, art exhibitions and books.

Space is often at a premium. To my mind, design that creates space within the limits of what is available is good design.
Design that accommodates the seasons of our life, and allows for change, also offers a way to grow with us - to extend when necessary and to retract when winter or other variables enter the frame. Working with what is available and building in flexibility and choice are design principles that I am coming to value.

Also, to be able to see everyday objects as potential for art is to put creativity in its rightful place - part of life - it brings a whole new meaning to domesticity.
This is an idea that has been pulsing in the back of my thoughts for a while, particularly with the latest droughts and floods downunder.
