Professional Writing  It can be difficult to find the right (write) words, or there is not time to deliberate over meaning and sentence structure. I provide professional writing for many types of documents and situations. I have written several books including biography and short stories and provide ghost writing for manuscripts. I also write articles for journals and magazines and content for websites.

Manuscript Assessment and Development  A written report assessing a manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses; offering constructive advice on how the work might be improved and made more attractive to agents and publishers.

Professional Editing  I offer professional editing services for manuscripts, academic theses and papers, and most types of documents.

Structural Editing   I provide a detailed written report examining a book’s structure and overall cohesiveness, including storyline, characters, audience engagement and content assessment. How might the work be tightened and strengthened?

Copy Editing  Editing the manuscript line by line, checking grammar, spelling, consistency of style, clarity and expression.

Proofreading Lay-out of documents, tables and appendices can often be tricky, especially if printers have specific requirements. I also will design covers to suit individual projects. See cover design page.
